ICPSD Africa believes communities thrive in healthy ecosystems. With Togo ranked among the fastest deforesting countries in the world and less than five percent of land remaining forested, ICPSD Africa launched the Ecosystem Restoration Program (ERP). At its heart is a native plant nursery serving as a hub for research, citizen science, and hands-on workshops in reforestation, afforestation, and agroforestry.

Beyond environmental restoration, the Youth Community Development Program mentors middle and high school students as emerging leaders, while the Experiential Learning Program connects global participants with African communities through community-led improvement projects rooted in cultural respect and sustainable collaboration.
