Teljn's battle with cancer has begun again.

In December of 2019 Teljn's mother noticed a lump on his shoulder that was quickly found to be cancerous. In January 2020 he was diagnosed with High Risk, Stage 4 Neuroblastoma and began the grueling cancer treatments that included chemotherapy, surgery, immunotherapy, radiation, and a trial vaccine.

The cancer remained clear for a time, but then he relapsed in 2022. He beat cancer a second time with with more chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation and a trial vaccine.

This time, Teljn was in remission for 3-1/2 years, and we thought he was skating quickly to the finish line of 5 years cancer free to achieve the status of being cured.

Then, on February 4th, his routine scans showed that the cancer had returned. While his family and doctors were shocked by the late stage relapse, they are confident that he will beat it again. They were able to catch the relapse early enough that Teljn is in good health and at a great starting point.

Teljn's reaction to the news was, "The third time's a charm."

He is ready to fight it again, win this battle and ultimately win the war.

It will be an expensive battle and there are many expenses related to treatment that will not be covered.
