We are a 501(c)3 non-profit that works to give youth in the Santa Teresa/Sunland Park region the tools they need to achieve success. Since 2000 we have been working with teachers, parents, and administrators in the Gadsden Independent School District to identify areas of need in our community and to develop programs to address them. As we have grown, we've wanted to ensure that our donations are having the impact we want. This has lead to closer collaboration with parents, teachers, administrators, and GISD officials within our community.
We focus on four areas in our programs: attendance and hard work, reducing the impact of poverty, post-graduation help, and educator excellence. We believe that by focusing on these areas we can have the greatest positive impact on youth in our community. Working with our Teacher Ambassadors, the we develop programs that support these areas as well as come up with metrics to review the outcomes of those programs. We also make grants available that are outside of these areas of focus because we understand that need and opportunities present themselves from time to time.
We cannot do this without your support. Every bid counts!
