City of Stories is a fundraising event supporting the Meridian Library District and celebrating community stories about the importance of libraries. This years theme, "Rooted in Stories," highlights how libraries help us grow, connect, and thrivenurturing individuals and neighborhoods through lifelong learning.

City of Stories is a hybrid event. The ticketed storytelling celebration will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the historic Tolleth House & Garden in Downtown Meridian. Guests will enjoy storytelling, garden-themed food and drinks, bouquet making in book-shaped vases, and creative activities inspired by the librarys new Mobile Outreach Bus of Ideas (MOBI). Join us for our online auction, running September 2227, to help raise funds for the launch of MOBI. Auction items include offerings from local businesses, book and library-themed goods, and garden-inspired gifts to celebrate this years theme.
