Brandywine Zoo
Welcome to the Brandywine Zoo Online Auction. We're a small and mighty Zoo located in Brandywine Park, Wilmington, DE., and Delaware's only AZA-accredited Zoo. Being a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquarium (AZA) we are committed to providing excellent care for animals, a great experience for the visitor, and a better future for all living things. The Delaware Zoological Society is a dedicated partner of the Brandywine Zoo and supports its mission to engage in, and inspire wildlife conservation. Our Vision is simple: Play, Learn, Conserve, Explore, and Enjoy! But we can't do that without your help!
Over the past several years we have been on a mission to create a WOW factor here at the Zoo. We are excited to say that our first two phases are completed:
- New Andean Condor Viewing Area
- Improved Honey Bee Display
- New Habitats for the domestic goats
- New Madagascar Habitat featuring three different lemur species and radiated tortoises
- Animal Care Center which has allowed us to quarantine sick and new animals in a safe and healthy environment
Our third phase includes:
- New Multi-Species Habitat that will provide a modern home for up to three species to ensure necessary, flexible habitat space to meet the Zoos needs throughout Phase 4 construction.
Our fourth phase includes:
- New Entry Complex (new ADA-compliant entrance)
- South American Wetlands Habitat at new entrance
