Braxton Bragg Chapter

Patriotism is important to us, but what's more important is giving thanks and showing support to our American Heroes. We are thankful to have opportunities, to give our brother's and sister's in uniform, a hand up in education, in resources and any support that they may need. Bid now, and be all you can be.

HOME OF THE AIRBORNE AND SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES

The Mission of the Braxton Bragg Chapter:

The Association of the United States Army is a nonprofit educational and professional development association serving Americas Total Army, our Soldiers, Army civilians, and their families; our community partners, and supporters of a strong national defense. Braxton Bragg Chapter provides a voice for the Army, supports the Soldier, and honors those who have served in order to advance the security of the nation.

  1. The Chapter educates our members, the public, industry, and Congress about the critical nature of land warfare and the Armys central role in national defense.
  2. The Chapter informs our members, the greater Fort Bragg/North Carolina, communities and Congress about issues affecting Americas Army and the Soldiers who serve in the Regular Army, the North Carolina Army National Guard, and Army Reserve.
  3. The Chapter connects the Army to the American people at the national, state, and chapter level.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

As I am sure you know, effective 1 July, leadership responsibility of the Braxton Bragg Chapter officially passes to the incoming elected President and Executive Vice President. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, that will not happen as planned. Both incoming Chapter officers have work related issues that must be resolved before they can take on the leadership responsibilities of the Chapter. Hopefully the issues will be resolved satisfactorily and with as little delay as possible.

Jimmie and I will remain in place for as long as it takes to resolve the issue. The Chapter is in excellent shape and I can assure that we will continue to keep the Chapter moving forward. But we need your help. We need volunteers to step forward and lend a helping hand. If you or someone you know would be willing to help us continue to accomplish our mission of supporting Soldiers and their family members in North Carolina, please contact us as soon as possible.

Team AUSA members are made up of Military and their family members, Retired Military, Department of the Army civilians, Veterans, Community Partners, friends and supporters of Americas Army. Alone we are members, together we are Team AUSA."

And the Team needs your help.
