What the Lighthouse is all About

The High Desert Lighthouse is more than a place for prayer and worship. It is a place where people can walk through the door looking for help, encouragement, prayer, or simply someone who cares. Here in Ridgecrest, the Lighthouse reaches into the community in practical ways helping provide food and assistance when people are going through difficult times. Its caring also reaches far beyond the High Desert through the Touch of Love School in Kenya, helping children and families thousands of miles away. Whether the need is across town or across the world, the heart of the Lighthouse is about people helping people and sharing the love of Jesus along the way.

Why Your Support Matters

Sometimes helping someone begins with something very simple. A bag of groceries for a family that doesn't know how they're going to make it through the week. A little help for someone going through a difficult time. Support for a child at the Touch of Love School in Kenya. Sometimes it is simply knowing that someone cares.

That is what your participation in this auction can help make possible.

Every registration, bid, donation, and shared post helps the High Desert Lighthouse continue reaching people here at home and through its ministries abroad. Behind every dollar raised is an opportunity to meet a real need, help a real person, and offer a little hope. When you take part in this auction, you're not simply placing a bid. You're helping the Lighthouse keep its light shining for someone in need.
